Package Tours with Regular Flights
Now you can search and book package tours with flights on regular airlines from external GDS systems, which are formed and calculated online at the moment of search request. This opens access to an even wider selection of flight options for your clients.
GDS - is a global booking system that combines airline databases. It allows you to receive real-time information about seat availability, fares and air transportation conditions; book seats on a flight, issue and cancel tickets, add and cancel additional services on a flight.
Tour operator PEGAS Touristik is connected to the largest GDS systems (Mixvel/Sirena, Amadeus, etc.) and has direct integrations with airlines (for example, Air Arabia, Turkish Airlines).
Features of Tour Search with GDS Flights
- When you click the "Search" button with the selected search filters, a request is sent to external systems, where the availability of seats on flights, available fares, prices and payment time limits are clarified.
- All regular flights for the selected date are available: direct, connecting, with different airlines and service classes.

The tour may combine the use of flights on tour operator blocks and GDS flights. For example, tours with connections Perm-Moscow-Cuba-Moscow-Perm. Where the main flights Moscow-Cuba-Moscow are charter flights on tour operator blocks, and the connections Perm-Moscow-Perm are on GDS flights.
- Important: Some flights available on airline ticket sales websites may not be displayed in tour search results and in alternative flight options on the booking page due to restrictions from the tour operator (to limit unsuitable fares, connections or exclude an excess of options). If the required flight is not in the results - contact the tour operator staff for manual tour booking.
How to Search for Tours with GDS Flights?
- On the tour search form, select the "Show tours with external flights" mode.
- When searching for tours with GDS flights, you can select only one date and duration. Reason: Each request to an external system takes 5-15 seconds (sometimes longer). If multiple dates are allowed, the wait may take minutes or end in error.
- When searching only with flights on tour operator blocks, as before, you can select multiple dates and durations.
Booking Rules
- Time Limit: the deadline for ticket payment and the amount of prepayment is indicated on the booking page. It is often short, you need to be ready to use fast payment methods: SBP for payments from legal entities and ATMs or online banking for individuals.
- If the booking is not paid on time, the PNR (seat reservation in the external system, which is held until the time limit for issuing a ticket) will be cancelled. In this case, you need to book a new flight option, which may be more expensive.
- Risks for travel agent and tourist:
- Airlines may reduce the time limit at their discretion, and tickets will not be issued in time.
- Recommendation: Pay for tickets as quickly as possible.
- Passport details:
- When booking with an international passport, the middle name can be omitted (except for flights within Russia).
- When booking with an internal passport, the middle name is mandatory.
- When booking with a Russian passport, you can specify any expiration date of the document that will be valid after the end of the trip.
Fare Conditions
Before saving the booking, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the fare rules (click on the "Fare application conditions" link on the tour booking page).
Key sections:
- refund and exchange conditions.
- baggage and carry-on allowance.
- possibility of making changes to the booking.
Important: Fare conditions (refund, exchange, baggage allowance) depend on airline rules and cannot be changed by the tour operator. Some fares do not include baggage and/or carry-on luggage.
In addition to the baggage and meal allowances included in the fare (including for no-baggage fares), you can add baggage and meals on the tour booking page or after saving the booking in your personal account, if the service is available in the external system.
After Booking
- A PNR – Passenger Name Record (booking) is automatically created – an electronic document containing information about passengers and services booked for them in the external system and airline system.
- Ticket issuance occurs automatically after payment of a sufficient amount, which is visible on the booking page and in the personal account.
- The tour operator is not responsible for changes in the time limit or cost from the airline. Tour operator staff will agree with the agency on the amount of additional payment and new conditions, if necessary.
- If the confirmation period for the payment time limit for tickets has expired, the PNR will be cancelled. In this case, you need to book a new flight option, which may be more expensive.
Making Changes to the Booking
Possible only by written request to the tour operator's office by email.
Booking Cancellation:
- Through Personal Account → "Cancel booking".
- Refund of funds -- according to airline rules. A request is made to the GDS system and the result is displayed on the cancellation form (often with a penalty).
Additional Information
- Transfer in GDS tours may be absent or only private (check when booking).
- NO SHOW (no-show for outbound flight):
- If the passenger did not show up for the first flight, the airline may cancel all subsequent flights.
- Actions:
- Urgently contact the tour operator to clarify the situation for the specific ticket.
- The passenger can independently contact the airline directly. The carrier, based on the rules for applying the fare of the booked transportation, will provide information to the passenger about the flight.
- The agent is obliged to inform the tour operator about the outcome of the situation.
